Eamon Breen came to visit our school to talk to the boys and girls about their experience when completing The World’s Toughest Row. Eamon told the kids about everything from the planning stages to stepping back on land after a gruelling six weeks rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. The children were fascinated and super excited to meet Eamon. Both Eamon and Andrew are past pupils of our school and their proud nephew Evan is in Second Class. As Eamon said ‘Anything is possible when you put your mind to it.’ Well done Eamon and Andrew, what an achievement π and thank you so much for sharing your story with us and inspiring our pupils to challenge themselves.
