Green-Schools Committee

This year, we have a wonderful selection of representatives from 3rd Class to 6th Class making up our Green-Schools Committee.

Together, we are working towards achieving our next Green-Schools flag:

Global Citizenship- Travel. The aim of the theme is to continue our school’s work in encouraging walking, cycling, scooting, using public transport and carpooling to school.

National Tree Week was held from from March 8th – 15th. We received a mixed bundle of native saplings from The Tree Council of Ireland and Coillte which our Committee very kindly helped to plant! We added them to our native tree plantation beside Cluain na n-Óg.
