St. Joseph’s N.S. was recently offered a biodiversity workshop for one class with Biodiversity in Schools. The workshop was kindly funded by Glenveagh Homes and Ms. New’s 2nd Class was the lucky winner of the draw carried out by the Green Schools Committee. Eight Committee members were also lucky enough to take part in the session. The purpose of the workshop was to explore Irish nature with a view to promoting biodiversity and wellbeing. The children were very engaged throughout and really loved all of the practical activities involved!
