Children from 4th Class recently participated in a fantastic module of work presented by Mona McCrea, a marine biologist, from Seashore Kids Ireland. Mona came to visit us to deliver two workshops and our theme was Squid Investigation. We were lucky enough to get the opportunity to dissect squid in small groups. We spent time researching and carrying out project work on the squid and we presented our projects to Mona when she came back for her second visit. We also participated in a fun table quiz. We really enjoyed this unit of work!
