We compiled an audit of all classroom bins and came up with some ideas to reduce waste
We organised talks for the Senior Classes on the work of GOAL last October and November 2012.
We carried out a Nationality Survey in every class in the school. Did you know there are children from 19 countries in St. Joseph’s!!
We carried out a Global Awareness Survey in all 4th, 5th and 6th classes and as result of that, we did a project on FAIRTRADE and displayed it outside Mr. Kavanagh’s office.

Jim Callery, Environmental Officer with Wicklow County Council was here in March talking to classes on reducing waste…….and we learned a lot especially about aluminium cans.
Lydia from Trócaire will be visiting our school to give a talk to some classes on April 19th….we are looking forward to that.
